In Philosophy lecture today we had an interesting activity called "The Philosophy of Mind Cage Match". We were divided into four groups that each had to present a certain stance regarding the nature of mind and then defend the idea. I got sorted into the Behaviorist camp (probably the hardest of the 4).

To counteract the weak argument we were forced to argue for, we volunteered to present and defend first. I didn't really talk much. These two other girls in my group did most of the talking during our presentation. I pulled out my camera and took pictures of everyone else. Haha.

Everyone looks so happy and cheerful because they know there's a camera pointed at them.

I have a crazy injury on my leg from soccer yesterday. I tried to save a ball before it went out of bounds, but I ended up running to fast on it, falling to the side, and sliding pretty far on the rough dirt/grass.

It burned for the rest of the game, and afterwards looked pretty bad. I guess my wolverine healing powers decided not to kick in yesterday. During the night last night I woke up a few times to a pretty bad burning sensation. I had to sleep on my side and minimize contact. During school it was pretty uncomfortable as well. When I got home I had it treated with some anti-infection stuff...

The same kind of thing happened to my elbow when I was in junior high. The injury that time was much more severe, and covered a large portion of my arm. It finally healed and resulted in a deceivingly small but visible scar I now have on my elbow.

The cause of the injury that time? I was racing my friend to school on my bicycle... no handed. We were trying to see who was faster without touching the handlebars. My lunchbox, connected to my backpack, swung around and collided with my uncontrolled handlebars. I fell to the ground and slid a good distance. Road rash is never fun.
