I had my first engineering 17: circuits midterm today. This was the exam I studied the hardest for in the past week or two. The test was easier than I expected, but tricky and difficult at parts as well. I understood the problems, but made mistakes on a couple and did a few incorrectly. We hope he curves.

During the day I relaxed a little, taking a break after a week or so of pretty intense studying. However, I have a math assignment due tomorrow, so I spent a few hours working on and finishing that.

In the evening, I went to economics lecture. In the beginning he went over the breakdown for the exam scores, and in the end he passed the exams back. The range for an A was 80-100.

After taking the exam last thursday, I thought I did very badly. When I looked up some of the concepts I was confused about in the book, I felt like I answered quite a few questions incorrectly on the test.

When I got my exam back today, I was surprised to find a congratulatory message scrawled on the front page, stating that my score was the high for the class. The grader had mercy on me by grading the mistakes I made with more mercy than I expected. The score was definitely a pleasant surprise, and a nice way to start off this new quarter of exams, scores, and grades. Now I wait for my differential equations score from monday, and my circuits score from this morning.

Praise God.
