Winter quarter 2007 concluded for me today. I am now one quarter away from being halfway done with college. Wow... My math final this morning went well. It was a very hard test, but I somehow managed to study a few key points that helped me significantly on the test in the 24 hours prior to taking the test.

I think I did very well on the test. Even if I made a number of mistakes, I'm hoping it wasn't nearly enough to wipe away the lead I gained through the midterms.

After the exam I worked out at the ARC with Ross and Jim. First, Ross and I boxed for a while. We then had a sprint race on the track, before playing in a pickup basketball game along with Jim.

The three of us ended by working out, and that was that.

When Ross walked into the ARC today, my jaw dropped. Half of his face was shaved, and half wasn't. He actually did it a couple days ago, and has been walking around since with only half of his face shaved. He tells me what when he was taking a final exam, every time he looked up the professor and TAs were looking at him. He wondered if they thought he was cheating, before realizing that he had only shaved half his face.

I was kinda embarrassed to be walking around in the ARC with him. It's like something that you would do when forced to by a dare, but not something you would decide to do voluntarily for fun.

Here's a funny thing that happened today. In the morning, I talked to Ross on the phone a little before I left for campus, to arrange a boxing match at the ARC in the afternoon. After the conversation, I started getting ready to leave. For some reason, the song "All you need is love" got stuck in my head, and I started singing that randomly while preparing for departure.

When I sat down at the computer, Ross messaged me on yahoo messenger. The conversation went a little like this:

Ross: R u okay?

Me: Huh?

Ross: "All you need is love?"

So anyway, it turns out that for some strange reason, my phone had called him again after we disconnected. When he picked up the phone, he thought I was singing "All you need is love" into the phone.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I have no idea how it happened, but it was pretty embarrassing. I have a habit of leaving it to the other person to disconnect cell phone calls, but I think I'm free of that habit as of this morning.

I checked tonight and found out I got a 98/100 on my physics final exam. The average was 46% and the standard deviation was 17.7, so I was pretty surprised. Praise God.
