Final Physics Lab

Today was my last physics lab of the quarter. Most people in the lab didn't show up, since missing a single lab doesn't hurt you or bring your grade down. All but one person in my lab group showed up, so we were still able to get our lab done pretty quickly. Our group didn't become as close as my group from last quarter, but it was still a good quarter. I'm not taking physics next quarter.
After the lab I biked over to political science. The lecture today was about public opinion. It was the first time Professor Berman make his own views pretty clear to us. Needless to say, they were pretty liberal views.
I felt kinda weird turning in my 5 page paper on affirmative action...
When the lecture was done I met up with our bible study group over at the flag pole. We continued with our study of Ephesians, and went through 2:4-10 today.
The UPS man stopped by our house for the second time today without finding anyone to sign for the package. They won't let us give them permission to leave the cell phone at our doorstep, so I called them in the afternoon and schedule for us to pick it up sometime this next week. It's pretty inconvenient. UPS shouldn't come at a fixed time during the day when normal people are off working to deliver a package that needs to be signed for.
At night I gave Ross a ride to campus since we both have economics. After filling our teacher evaluations, my TA suddenly got a call from our lecturer. When he got off the phone, he told us that our lecturer had some sort of sudden emergency at the dentist's office, and therefore couldn't hold lecture today. We got to go home without learning anything. Everyone was happy, but I think they didn't realize that a good lump of change from college tuition goes into lectures... I think I read somewhere that we actually pay $25 a lecture.
A few of the pictures are of an acapella group that was standing outside the MU passing out fliers and singing. They sounded nice, so we watched and listened for a while.
However, as we walked past them to go to Bible study, we finally heard a little of what they were singing. They were talking about kids dying and people killing each other... Okay...
bogtrotter on March 9, 2007 01:18 PMi did the math the other night, and i found the "per class sum" to be between $18-25, depending on how many units you take each quarter. Besides, i tend to think that we're not really paying for the lectures and tests as much as we're paying a premium on the piece of paper that we all get at the end....
michael on March 12, 2007 10:46 PMWhy did you do the math the other night...?
jk ;-)
That premium sure is high.
