Ross, pouria, jim, and I went to watch Letters from Iwo Jima tonight at 8. I really liked the trailer when I saw it a few months ago. The movie didn't disappoint. For most of the day today I stayed around at home and got work done. My brother and I have been playing pegball on a daily basis these days.

Clint Eastwood's style of directing war movies is a little different than Steven Spielberg. Spielberg makes the action clear and detailed, while Eastwood seems to aim for a style of chaos and confusion. This movie isn't like Saving Private Ryan, but it's not worse either... It's just a different style.
