The ball my brother and I throw at each other during our games of Pegball has slowly developed holes through which the little things inside escape. We've tried many different methods of restoring the pegball's structural integrity, but our methods never last very long, given the high velocities at which we throw it.

After days of masking tape and rubberbands, I decided to sew it up myself. The repair job went smoothly, but I don't know how solid the knots I closed it off with are... I'm not sure if I end my sewing the correct way... Oh well.

Today was tuesday, so I only had a political science lecture and an economics lecture. The economics lecture was replaced with a midterm today. When I got to the lecture hall, the professor and TA were squatting on the ground, shuffling the midterms to alternate A and B versions.

I think the test went well. I had time to check it over three or four times. When the professor announced that we had passed the 45 minute mark, I panicked because I felt like I didn't have enough time to complete the test. Then I realized that this was a thursday lecture, meaning our test was an hour and twenty minutes. Sweet.

By the time I left, the lecture hall was pretty empty already. I think there was still about fifteen minutes left... I like 2 hour finals a lot more than 50 minute midterms, so I guess this midterm was good because the time length was in between a typical midterm and a typical final.

Over the past weekend, I found out that I scored a 100% on my linear algebra midterm last week. Praise God!

Political science is a pretty interesting subject. Our professor wrote the textbook we're using. He's also involved with the UC Washington program, so he flies to Washington D.C. every week or two. He frequently ends lecture a bit early so he can catch his flight to D.C. He's a nice and friendly dude, who tries his hardest to make the dry material a little more interesting.

One time a guy in the middle of the lecture hall got up in the middle of the lecture to leave. The professor noticed and tried to stop him, but was too late. He then went on a rant about how rude it is to leave during the middle of a lecture. I don't think anyone left after that.

I sit in the front row of class, and frequently eat tangerines... in mass quantities. In discussion section I eat tangerines also. It's not like I eat tangerines around the clock, but I find that my poitical science sections of my school days are great times to eat tangerines.

As a result of this, people who see me in political science might think I'm some poor college students who gets through each day by eating tangerines. Knowing this makes me a little self conscious about eating my mass quantities of tangerines. Thus, I've devised methods of eating them stealthily using various tactics.

Not only do my tactics hide the fact that I'm eating tangerines, but they also confuse observers in determining exactly how many I'm eating. People won't know whether I'm eating 10 tangerines really slowly, or one really long and large one. Viva citrus!
