Tonight was Grace Alive's Ugly Sweater Uno tournament. Everyone was supposed to attend with the ugliest sweater they could get their hands on. The tournament was coordinated well, and was fun to play. There was a point system based on the number of cards you still had at the end of each round.

I pulled a Peyton Manning. I was the only person to win each of the three "regular season" rounds, and ended with a perfect point total of 0. However, in the semifinal round I was pummelled by Janice, and then Ross decided to take a gamble.

Ross was to my right, and the person to his right called Uno after dropping a wild. We knew the color of his last card by the color he chose for the wild. Thus, right before Ross did his turn, I warned him not to put down the color that would end the game and give the Uno dude a victory...

Ross, however, decided to risk it. He knew he had a huge number of cards less than I did, and since the top three people of each of the two semifinal rounds moved onto the finals, he thought he would make it. Thus, he played the card that ended the game, and sealed defeat for both of us. Argh...

However... we're talking about Uno here, so the disappointment didn't last too many milliseconds.
