My brother's chess tournament doesn't start until tomorrow, so we spent today exploring the city and various famous places. For lunch, we ate at the MGM Grand Buffet where there was an amazing selection of food. However, the line (just to get seated) was extremely long and there were lines for the food too.

Before lunch, we went to the Luxor hotel (the huge black pyramid). My brother and his friend Ted played in the arcade there for a while, and tried to win tickets for an eventual prize. In the end they had to pool their tickets together to trade in for a flower toy thing...

After eating lunch at the buffet, we visited the Bally hotel, where we will be staying after tomorrow, when my brother's tournament starts there.

We returned to our hotel (Circus Circus) in the evening, and went straight to indoor amusement park. My brother and his friend spent a long time in the games area there, playing various things for tickets. It's obviously not worth it, but my brother had fun and won three Las Vegas mugs.
