Playoff Defeat

We found out a couple days ago that our team had miraculously made it into the IM playoffs. We were ranked 17th, but for some reason we were given the 16th seed in the playoffs. Thus, we had a match against the number 1 team tonight. Turns out it was a bunch of people we knew from our high school team.
They were extremely well organized and talented. After the match started, they passed the ball a few times right past our defense, and scored. However, from that point on we didn't give them an easy time. An outside observer watching us would probably name the match something like "Athletes vs. Engineers". Some of our players wore normal shoes and jeans, while their team was all tall, lean, and soccer playerish.
Look at the picture of our team cheering, and you'll know what I mean.
We made a great effort. The whole time they were muttering about how it should have actually been 10-0. However, they kept missing great opportunities, and we kept chasing the ball and kicking it out of bounds. We had a few great opportunities to score, but Ross and I couldn't capitalize.
In the end, we lost 0-4. I can't believe our "season" is over. IM sports are really fun, and I would have liked to play soccer longer. Hopefully we can put together an indoor soccer team for next quarter.
