Grace alive had its third lunch since school began. We went over to Jenna's place and had tri tip sandwiches for lunch. Last year we did the same thing at James' parents house. The food was great. Bobak came to morning service this morning, but I took him back to the dorms right after due to school work.
I just looked back in time, and realized that it's been a long time since I've put together an entry as solid as Fruit Picking.
Now for my amazingly awesome and awesomely amazing question of the day. My answer to this one is "dog".
What's the strangest or most exotic thing you've eaten in your life? If you've traveled around the world, you've probably eaten some pretty strange stuff... Share it with me.
All you people in china are probably chuckling at my answer to the question I just posed. We don't eat dogs over here guys... We just don't. We don't eat horses either.
Now cows, chickens, and pigs... that's a different story. We eat plenty of those.
When I went back to china last time, I was tricked into eating mysterious meat by my loved ones. I ate it on the day I entitled "Along the Beach". Dog sure is tough to chew.
Ross on October 16, 2006 08:17 PMDuck, I had it at your place for first time! lol
Rebekah on October 16, 2006 10:46 PMWell, all the animals we eat don't do any hard work for us. Horses and dogs do things like watch dogs and plow horses. That could be why their meat is so tough. All the other animals we eat are fat and just kinda hang around doing nothing. hehe.
I had sea horse soup. I didnt eat the actual sea horse but the soup tasted wierd.
michael on October 16, 2006 10:50 PMInteresting thought Rebekah... I hadn't thought about it that way.
