Tonight was Grace Alive's welcome night, the night we've been working on for quite some time. The turnout was pretty good, and I got to talk to a good number of people new to campus. The slideshow Todd made (and I helped out a little on) went smoothly and was a good introduction to the group's activities.
Here's something interesting. One year ago was the first time I got a taste of Grace Alive, and it was through the welcome night as well. Here's the post:
I wasn't even planning on checking out grace alive. Instead, I was going to ABSK's welcome night and dropped in on grace alive's welcome night just to see a few friends.
It's interesting how much can change over the course of a year. In that post one year ago, I wrote:
Once people started going home, a freshman named Laura said she was going to the ARC. Rachel, richard, and I havn't ever been inside before, so we decided to all go.
Haha. I thought "a freshman named Laura" was pretty funny. Interesting eh?
