We did more dorm visits tonight. Keturah and I went to the Cuarto buildings and visited quite a few people that were interested in Grace Alive. We handed out all the cookies we had by the time we were done, and met quite a few people that said they would attend our welcome night tomorrow in Hunt 100.

Here's a little something I was thinking about today:

Human teleportation cannot be possible without the human dying.

I'm quite confident about that statement... Think about it. We can now clone animals, and what happens? A new animal is created, and the old animal remains. The new animal has the exact same genetic information, so why isn't the old animal replaced? Why isn't it overwritten like when you save a file with the same name as an existing one?

Okay... okay... That analogy is pretty nerdy... but anyway.

Human teleportation MIGHT be possible, but would require the source human dying, and a new one with the exact same body and mind recreated at a different location. Outside observers would not be able to distinguish between the two, since they're identical in both mind and body, but the first human would be destroyed and would fail to exist any further.

Anyone object?
