At 7:30 we met at nugget fields to play a friendly game of soccer on a real field. Everyone paired up, and then split into two teams with rock paper scissors. We played soccer for two hours until the sun went down. It was pretty tiring but extremely fun. Afterwards some of us went to lynn's place to hang out.
After lunch, my brother and I went downtown to get some jamba juice and sit around borders. On the way home we stopped by his elementary school and used their exercise structures.
Devotion points and verses:
Don't wear yourself out to get rich. Have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone.
Apply your hearts to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge. Do not withhold discipline from a child. If you punish him with the rod, he will not die. Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death.
If a son''s heart is wise, then his parent's hearts will be glad. The father of a righteous man has great joy.
Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. Keep your heart on the right path. Obtain wisdom, discipline, and understanding.
