My day was quite productive. After waking up, devotioning, and eating, I set to work on my final research paper for film studies. By noon, I had cranked out the last of the six pages that I needed. I'll reread the essay a couple times tonight to polish it out, and I'm meeting with my ta tomorrow to look over it.

After my essay was out of the way, I set to work on my final weekly programming assignment for ecs50. We've moved on, to a second assembly programming architecture: MIPS. Learning how things worked took a while, but once I was used to it, the programs weren't too bad. I finished the three programs before my math discussion at 7.

At 7, I drove to campus for my final math discussion. The TA this quarter was pretty helpful and funny. I'd recommend him, except you can't really choose your TA's, and I still don't know his name.

During the discussion, a few people in class boldly proclaimed that they had the entire teacher solutions manual on their computer. Basically, they were guaranteed full credit on all the homeworks, which is about 1/4 of your grade. I, on the other hand, was forced to tediously figure out each and every homework, and they generally took me forever. On the flip side, I should have done a lot better than them on the tests so far, but I made mistakes on both.

Now, I need to study for (and ace) the final.
