My discrete math midterm was decent. It at least felt better than my nuked midterm a week back. Roozbeh and I had a mini art competition before our film studies class. He drew a picture of two midgets standing on the dashboard of an astrovan with a peace symbol on the hood. I drew a macho pirate with a gun.

In the blink of an eye, the macho pirate turned into chuck norris. In another blink of an eye, chuck norris turned into santa claus. It was then I decided to forgo my computer science engineering ambitions and pursue a career of fine art.

Roozbeh revealed his complete ignorance of fine art, commenting that my masterpiece looked like a bunch of lines.

In film studies, the wonderful animator who created the animations we immensely enjoyed on tuesday gave a guest lecture. His lecture was just as wonderful as his animations! Great!

He's going to perform "live animation" at the end of the pacific edge film festival on saturday. His selling point in the performance is the disasterous possibility that the film could knot and make its way into the projector. This creates a tension within the audience while they're watching his frames of animation loop over and over for a couple hours.

P.S. Roozbeh's astrovan had pizzas for wheels.
