Training For Bowling

After morning service, I watched three baptisms at GVCC. Being so familiar with the way my homechurch did things, it was very interesting watching the event being performed a little differently. I then went home, got crushed by my brother in video game football, and then took a long nap before evening service.
Evening service also had a tradition I had never witnessed before. They had a childrens' dedication ceremony, with Pastor annointing babies with oil, and praying for them. There was then a presentation about a previously secret ministry that involved sunday services for the elderly at convalescent homes.
I was originally going to go to the ARC after service with other freshmen (jim and rachel?), but they ended up not being able to go. Nate was planning on bowling at 9:15, so I decided to bowl instead of ball.
From 8:30 something till 9:30 I waited around, and then I figured something was up called him. Turns out people hadn't called him back, and he was still at the library a few blocks away. He walked over five minutes later, and just the two of us started bowling.
I can't remember the last time I've bowled, but I couldn't seem to make the ball go straight at first. He crushed me the first game, and scored something like 180 while I barely broke 100. The second game was closer, but I failed at claiming the win by scoring three straight strikes. We paid for a third game, and then my inner jock peeked it's head out and looked around. The game was intense, but I finished with no empty frames, five strikes, and a final score of 210. Nate's a very competitive, consistent and accurate bowler. Twas a fun challenge.

Matthew on November 14, 2005 10:26 PMIf you're going to add a link to the top at the bottom, you need an anchor at the top of the page that it can hop to. Something like:
Matthew on November 14, 2005 10:29 PMerr... </>
Matthew on November 14, 2005 10:30 PMWow, me + html = fail Last chance!

michael on November 14, 2005 10:46 PMThat's what I used...
Are you saying it doesn't work in Firefox?
michael on November 14, 2005 10:50 PMOk. I looked into it some more, and I found that my anchor was 'Top' and my link was 'top'. IE is fine with it, so I guess Firefox is just more sensitive with case.
Should be fine now. Goodnight everyone.
