Pool War With Todd

It's nice when trees on both sides of a road seem to mesh together above you. In the afternoon I ran into Todd, and we went to the Memorial Union and played a few games of pool. In my next discussion, statistics, only three or four people showed up. After my last class, I stopped by a special event before basketball.
The special event was something on a flyer I saw in my math discussion. It said there would be panelists discussing evolution versus intelligent design. I thought it would be some sort of interesting talk, but it turned out to be a whole lot of Christian bashing garbage. One of the panelists even said that he was religious and went to a church in davis that believes in evolution. If you can't believe the Bible when it talks about the creation of all things due to "lack of science", how can you believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. Isn't that one of the most fundamental parts of Christianity?
When the next speaker started talking, he told everyone that the intelligent design movement was political. Great.
It was nice to see that not many people showed up though...
After looking at the newspaper when I got home, I learned that the whole thing was set up by the Agnostic and Atheist Student Association. What's the point of a club like that?... What do they do at their meetings? Stare at pictures of monkeys transitioning into modern day man?
As I was walking my bike today, the pedal broke my stride. It wasn't until a long time later, when I touched my ankle and made my hand bloody, that I discovered that I was bleeding. Bikes are dangerous. Like in calvin and hobbes.
