Friends Farewell

| « Summer Advising | Annas Birthday » |
I had to wake up early again this morning to drive over to campus and take two placement tests. The first was calculus and the second was chemistry. I also sat through two advising sessions, where they talked about course requirements and took questions from any of the confused engineering freshmen.
Right after my advising session, I drove home, got ready, and then went to josephs house for our friends farewell gathering. All the our friends and families went, and we had a potluck. After eating, us seniors ran into the golfcourse, played with a giant exercise ball, ran around, and took some interesting pictures.
As promised, here's the full sized version of the jumping picture taken today:
Once we all went inside, we watched two slideshows that phil put together. Then we went around in a circle and had a sharing time that turned out to be sad and happy at the same time. Sad that everyone's leaving and going off into the next stage of their lives, but happy that we were able to enjoy all the times that we've had together.
I left at around 11, because I needed to go home and pick classes to register for during my third advising session tomorrow morning.

Victoria Goddard on December 5, 2006 06:58 AMHi Michael
I work for a charity theatre company in Wales that runs drama projects and tours theatre shows for children and schools in South West Wales. I've just done a website search for images of kids jumping for a poster we'd like to use to inform parents of our spring programme of workshops and drama activities and your photos came up on the search.
They are amazing photos!!!!!
Is there any chance we might be able to use the 10th photo of the 2 kids in the air for our publicity poster? I know it's really cheeky but it's exactly what we were looking for and I couldn't set that up if I tried.
It's a very small local campaign for the posters in Neath and we'd probably only print a few off to put in the local library and kids playareas and we'd obviously credit you on the poster....
What do you think?
yours hopefully
Victoria Goddard
michael on December 5, 2006 08:43 AMFeel free to use it Victoria.
Thanks for asking!
Katja Springer on January 10, 2007 09:16 AMHello Michael,
I`ve just started my "business" working as graphic artist and I`m creating an internet site for myself.
Because of my family name "Springer" which means (in german) jumping person/people I was looking for pictures with silhouettes of jumping people. Via Google I found your "jumping.jpg" and would like to ask you if I could use it (arranged as a graphic) for my index page.
Greetings,
Katja
