In the afternoon my brother and I went swimming. When we got back, it was decided that I could go purchase the second part of my graduation gift today. We drove fifty minutes to the Best Buy store in Elk Grove, and went to the camera department. I was there for the semiprofessional camera: Canon 20D.

I had called the arden store to see if they had the camera, but they didn't. This was expected because it said online that the Arden mall best buy didn't have it available. However, they informed us that on their computers the camera was priced at 1,299. That's 300 bucks cheaper than what it was selling for at Elk Grove.

When we got to the Elk Grove store, I asked them to call the arden store to see if the camera could be sold at 1,299. They called and discovered that it was in fact that price, and when they checked their own computers, the same price came up. Everywhere except the official Best Buy computers showed the camera as being 1,599. With the massive discount and money saved, we also got a replacement for my deceased pocket camera, except this one's a little more than 2 times as powerful. Total money spent is about how much we expected the present to be for just the single pro camera.

Hurrah!

At 9pm, a lot of us met in front of ditha's house to surprise Hannah, since it's her 17th birthday today. They prepared quite an interesting present: a massive "hammer" called the "angry hammer". We waited in front of dithas house talking for about an hour because hannah was at a soccer game, and then we walked the 2 blocks to Hannah's house, where we discovered that she still wasn't back.

They suggested that we hide in their equipment shed, so the bikes were removed and we packed ourselves into it. We spent a while in there talking about really random topics in total darkness. When she arrived, her brother led her up the driveway and opened the shed door. There was a loud scream of "Happy Birthday!" or "Surprise!" (I can't remember which one...), and she had a priceless look of shock on her face.

The cake was good, and I dropped off 3 people at their houses.

Happy birthday Hannah!
