In the morning we dropped off my cousin at her swimming class, and then went around the city to random places. We first went to a farmers market kind of thing, where there was a ton of live animals everywhere. In one corner, there was actually a place where they slaughtered birds for the customers.

At first I was hesitant to take pictures of them, because I thought they would think I was from PETA or something and then slaughter me, but I went back and took some pictures and they were fine with it. They grab chickens, and quickly slit the throat with a few slashes. They then throw them into containers before boiling them and taking off all the feathers. A few tables away they were cutting off most of the wings off pidgeons.

We bought some vegetables, meat, and toad. Then we travelled to the coast and looked at the distant island before driving back to pick up my cousin after around two hours.

Before lunch we visited my great uncle. I got some pictures during the walk to and from the house. When we arrived back for lunch, I had toad. I had previously heard that frog tasted like chicken, but the meat I had at lunch was pretty tough and non-tender. Maybe I just ate too buff of a toad.

We sat around a lot of the day, played ping pong, and watched tv. At night we went to a restaurant, where snake was on the menu. Once again, like in Qingdao, you order by walking along the displays and picking out what you want. There was a lot of live animals including birds, toads, and snakes.
