Lunch in the morning after we got up was pretty good. A highlight was definitely the do it yourself waffle maker. It made awesome waffles that were toasty on the outside, and warm and melty on the inside. Just thinking back on it makes my mouth start to water. We had to work off the calories afterwards though.

We started on our long drive again after we left the hotel. Before getting to the border, we made the traditional supply stop at walmart. For lunch we ate at McDonalds inside Walmart.

The border crossing was smooth and successful. Praise God. Neither of our cars got stopped or checked, and we passed right through. Everything suddenly changed into... Mexico. A few more minutes of driving and we arrived at the Pastors house where the whole team will be staying during the week. Once unloading was finished, we sat around inside and rested while distributing our team shirts.

We spent a while resting, and then Eugene took us on a prayer drive around the city, showing us places we will be in the following week. Some places he pointed to while we drove by, and some places the team got out and we made a short visit.

At the end of the drive, Eugene took the team to a shaved ice place. The shaved ice and milkshakes there were very refreshing. When we arrived back at the pastor's house for dinner, we were informed that there was an unexpected shortage of the gas needed for cooking, so we went to a taco restaurant instead. Tacos in mexico are very different from the americanized tacos you find in the states.

When dinner was over, we left and went back to the house to sleep.

Question, Is there a lot of drug activity in San Luis? I am thinking of a trip there but do not want to wander into a hot-bed of drug activities. Thanks, Jerry, Nevada

Sorry, I don't know much about San Luis aside from the things that we were exposed to during our missions trip.
