Valley Oak Carnival

Valley oak had it's spring carnival today at 5. They provided many different games you could play using tickets, which all basically guaranteed at least a little prize. The tickets were overpriced at 25 cents each, and believing it was normal, I let my brother spent 10 dollars on tickets.
In the middle, the UC Davis pepband, the banduh, came marching in, they played various songs, which were always animated because of their constant movement and jumping around. When they played star wars, some of the instrument players started pretending to lightsaber fight. The people in the cake walk had a fun time dancing to their music.
We eventually discovered that we didn't need to spend anything on tickets. My brother found plenty of tickets just lying around on the ground. He used his original tickets and won lots of random worthless plastic prizes, but then near the end, we tried hard to get rid of all the tickets we found. Our whole group went and played the cake walk, but after a few attempts only daniel won a cake (banana cream pie).
As the games started closing down, my brother ran to the snacks table, and began getting otter pops for his tickets. As he got loads of otter pops and brought them back to us, he found more tickets on the ground, and that kept happening until we were loaded with the pops.
After the carnival, we played on the playground for a long time, and then everyone went to annas house but I took my brother home. At 9, I went to annas as well, and played a lot of ping pong.
In the morning, we continued social cohesion speeches in public speaking class. We had quite a few hilarious speeches.
Brian started things off by performing a presentation speech as a stereotypical french male model. He presented the award to himself for being the most beautiful in the HOTTS organization.
Kaitlin performed a speech as a southern girl obsessed with guns. She pretended to give a grand opening speech for a mall which opened a firing range inside. Matt followed up with a commemorative speech as a vietnam veteran.
Katrina then presented as an obsessed cat owner delivering a keynote address for a kitty convention. She put on a serious lisp which was quite funny. Allie came next as a rich, spoiled valley girl presenting a eulogy for a mall which was replaced by a home depot.
Next was Julia, who spoke in a monotone voice as a martian presenting the beauty pagent winner. Finally, Eren pretended to be the wife of Josef Stalin, and performed the eulogy for him in a russian accent.
At 2 in the afternoon, my brother was in a gold rush play presented by his class. He was cast as one of the chinese miners.
