Senior Awards Night

Social cohesion speeches continued today, with a hilarious lineup of kevin, jay, rachel, and then alex. There was a pirate, a robot, a little girl, and a lower class man aboard the titanic during the sinking. Now that joe and I have our final speech done with, the class is hilarous to be in because we just get to watch.
At 7 tonight, we went to senior awards night. It was basically just calling people up, giving them awards, and mentioning the names of people who achieved certain things and asking them to stand. By the end, we were all bored of the names being read, and wanted to leave.
There was free cookies though.
The davis enterprise article about this blog came out today, and to all of our surprise, it took up fat sections of the front and back pages. The gigantic picture of our group at sams club even overshadowed the national story about "deep throat" being discovered. Definitely memorable.
On the back it has a picture from celebrate davis, and from our family's fruit picking trip.
