God saved us from the jaws of death today. We stayed up late last night trying to figure out subnetting and all the networking stuff we needed to know for the practical exam today. In addition, we prayed for some sort of miracle to happen since we would have no idea what we were going.

Once we went into the lab again and started tinkering, setting it up suddenly came to us randomly. We did a few things here and there, plugged in a few cables, and we found ourselves assembling a working setup. We finished very quickly also, when they did some random disruptions in our setup, and we had to fix the problems they created.

Thank you God, for having mercy on stupid people like joe and I.

At lunch, the band sherwood came and played on the quad. One of the teacher's is the sister of the lead singer. After about three songs, it was hot and noone had really gathered, so the band walked to the shade and they took the equipment down.

John and wei wei came to visit from berkeley, so after school we went to nugget and ate, and then everyone went to joes house but I came home to finish up some work.

At 7 something tonight, people started telling me that everyone was going to meet at community park and walk around in the celebrate davis event. We just stood around and talked until 9, when the fireworks started. Here's a panoramic photo of the center of it all:

The food was very overpriced, and it cost 4 dollars to get a glow stick thing. We kept losing each other in the masses of people, so until we sat down to watch the fireworks, everything was kinda chaotic.

There was lots of businesses under the tents, and other things that are part of the community, like the explorit science center. On the way out of the park, there was some pretty strange people.

Tomorrow's senior ditch day.
