This morning after waking up, devoing, and working a little, my brother and I went out back into the field and took a walk. After so many gloomy days, its a relief to have the sun come out. There actually wasn't a single cloud in the sky, but it wasn't too hot either, so that was nice.

A lot of things have changed in the field during the past few weeks and months. The grass is taller everywhere, so we can't play golf anymore or we'll lose the balls. The hole we dug in the ground is still there, but it's become more of a permanent fixture, and theres no debris or anything around it.

I worked all day, and when it came time for youth group, I was numb with exhaustion. Eugene spoke to us about Islam and their beliefs, and then we had an "animated" debate for fun and learning.

On the way home there was a swarm of police officers in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
