What a crazy day. Today, was the last davis high school mens tennis team match that all of us seniors played for the school. Our fortunes weren't as good as last year, but we did a lot better than we expected, so we really showed them we could really compete with their powerhouse lineup.

One thing that was really special, was that there was a massive turnout of friends, classmates and family who came to watch. Eric made an accouncement for the match when he did the daily bulletin over intercom, and when the started, the bleachers were all packed with people, and the huge pepband walked out and played us a special number.

My opponent today, nick andrews, played a lot worse than he normally does, so I got lucky that way. It was a pretty close match, and we went down to the tiebreaker on both sets. The final score was 6-7 (5), 6-7 (1). It was a heartbreaker, especially because if I had won, then our team would have won. We lost to Jesuit 4-5 as a team.

Joseph played Steven Dawson and made an incredible comeback to completely take over the match. He took the match to three sets, and was ahead 6-5 in the third before rain finally cancelled everything.

Afterwards, we all went to dos coyotes.
