Granite Bay Match

School went by quickly, because there was only two periods I needed to go to before being released for sections tennis. We heard about our next speech in public speaking, and I wrote a practice essay in senior writing. I got let out twenty minutes before class ended, because I thought the match was at 12.
Turns out the match was really at 2, and that we were just supposed to leave at 12 for lunch. My mom came and watched, but there was nothing to watch at 12, so she left. Joseph, alp, and I went downtown to have stuff done to alp and joe's racquets at the tennis shop. We grabbed a footlong each at subway, which turned out to be a slightly bad idea.
By the time we rushed to our match an hour late to warm up, we were full and had difficulty moving around. Our league during the regular season is relatively weak, so its nice finally getting into the section playoffs and playing teams that can actually play.
Our team pretty much destroyed the other team. Joseph and Alp finished quickly, and I took a long time as usual, before finally ending it 6-2, 6-2. The Granite Bay tennis team has a major temper problem. There was a lot of racquet bashing and throwing going on, and Dale got really mad at their number 1, when he started complaining that Alp was shouting "Come on!" when he won points. My opponent was a nice guy, and we got along, but he got really mad when he messed up, hit the net a couple times, and threw his racquet a couple times.
I'm going to bible study at grace valley in a bit. Joseph's giving me a ride, and should be here any minute now...
Joe really drove in circles around town today, driving people from place to place, so thanks a lot. For bible study at GVCC, he gave alp, jim, and I a ride there. Afterwards, we had to go pick up alps racquet from the shop. We arrived after the time when alp told roger he would be there, so we stood at the shop window pounding for a long while. We probably looked pretty suspicious, and alp kept studying the lock and telling us how easily he could just pop it open. Roger finally showed up in his socks, and told us his car wasn't starting. Alp got his racquet, and we helped roger start his car.
I did some fun photo experiments with a plastic lizard, birthday candle, and match. The results were pretty awesome, especially if I go through them in order.
