Happy mothers day! Today's a special day where we can show our moms how much we appreciate them. Not that we don't show them every day of the year, but today is the commercially special day for showing the love. My brother and I both made our mom cards, colored with color pencils.

At church, all the mothers were given a flower thing to wear on their clothes. The children performed a song for the congregation, and we studied another chapter of revelations in sunday school, while sitting on the ground. Since we cooked for mothers day yesterday, we served food today. I had the awesome job of stacking plates for steven, who served rice.

After church, even though it was raining, my brother and I biked to office max, where I returned a papermate pen and refill ink I got earlier this week. In office max, I discovered that uniball is packaging some of their pens with a "bonus sample" of eclipse mints. How strange is that. Pens and mints. I just don't see the connection.

When we left office max without finding any pen I liked (except for the nice multimillion dollar cross pens), we went to rite aid, where my brother and I got three scoops of ice cream with two cones. We sat near the magazines and novels while eating it, and biked home afterwards.

In the rain, I took some pictures of nature for mothers day.
