Monarch Butterflies

What a beautiful day. The sun was bright, and there was just the right number of soft, white clouds floating across the sky. Looking outside, I noticed what seemed to be leaves being blown about by the wind, but then soon realized that they were actually countless monarch butterflies.
It is beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth. Like the utmost heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King. - Psalm 48:2
It was just awesome seeing thousands upon thousands of butterflies flutter by, with tens flying by my head every single second, and the number no fewer after a long while. If I had a decent video camera, I would have recorded the sight, but I had to be content with taking pictures of resting butterflies.
I didn't really do much today, from morning until taking the butterfly pictures. Some time was spent playing playstation with my brother, and some more was spent catching up on some entries for my mexico trip, since I wasn't able to update anything while I was down there. I've definitely been stressed and down lately, due to different things, so watching nature for a while today was very needed.
A beautiful day opens your eyes to how infinitely gigantic and amazing God is. Every single twitch of every single blade of grass. The slightest movement of every one of the thousands of butterflies that glided past. Each and every breath that we breathe every day. Everything was orchestrated by the hands of God before time began.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. - Hebrews 4:13
I just dropped my brother off at his friend Christian's house. On the way there I saw a motorcycle cop on the side of the road, stalking drivers with his eyes, which were hiding behind black sunglasses. Knowing that I was on a dangerous road in terms of tickets, I slowed to about five miles per hour below the speed limit. On the way back, I was on the lookout for the cop, and I found him a few streets down with a truck pulled over. Sometimes, I feel like just stopping and watching a cop like that for a while, to see how often he pulls a guy over.
I went out for a refreshing nature walk in the afternoon with my mom. We walked around in circles in the field behind my house. After multiple circles, we started heading home, but I noticed a horse nearby, so I went to feed it and pet it a little. It sure likes the tender green grass that's everywhere today. During the walk, I took a stick and tried walking around with my eyes closed. I can't imaging being blind and having to walk around with the feeling beneath my shoes and the things I hit with the stick. I kept waving it high madly because I was scared of hitting something with my head. How do blind people not have their heads run into things in the air, like tree branches and such? When I opened my eyes, everything was the most beautiful I've seen in a long time. What an artist God is.
