We went to Buca di Beppo today for our annual group dress up dinner. It was different than last years dinner because the food was family style and we didn't dress up as much. The food was okay, but hanging out was pretty cool. I was pretty isolated from the conversation section of our group of 13 though. We had spicy pizza, chicken, and bread. We were there for about two hours. At the end they brought a cake out and celebrated Todds birthday early.

Buca di Beppo is a pretty... interesting restaurant. They have "art" all over the walls, which is in the form of photographs and illustrations of often nude, insanely obese, or distorted people. I don't know why they think people want to look at stuff like that while eating, but maybe it's authentic italian something. Helps their digestion? Also, in the bathroom, theres a random voice of some person talking in italian. In contrast to more normal music, it's kinda weird.

Afterwards I stayed over in sac with another group, and we had a movie marathon. We watched: Shaolin Soccer, Garden State, Wicker Park, and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. I fell asleep for a bit during Garden State, but the other movies were pretty good. Wicker Park keeps you on the edge and really frustrated at the characters. Garden State has a cussword every two lines of dialogue. I slept for about four or five hours, then drove home to take care of my brother.
