Michaels Photoblog
This website is basically a documentation of my everyday life, with up to 20 (displayed) photographs every single day. As I move through life and all the things God has in store for me, I hope to be able to look back at where I've been and smile at all the good times I've shared with people.

Movable Type powers this website, with different modifications done by me throughout its lifetime. It was started on December 16, 2004 when I finally stopped procrastinating and put my idea into motion. The design is by myself, and goes through major changes occasionally.

The website was last updated on March 08, 2010 09:35 PM Pacific Time. As of today, I have preserved 1908 days of my life and have received 2411 comments from other amazing people.

About Me
I am currently studying Computer Science at UC Berkeley. In my free time, I enjoy tennis, basketball, drums, guitar, photography, technology, and business. As a Christian, I hope my love of Christ, family, and friends will be reflected in how I live my life.

2009

• Went crabbing for the first time at Bodega bay.
• Had one last outing together as a group at Scandia Family Center.
• Spent a week road tripping to Oregon with my friends.
• Graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science.
• Visited golden gate bridge and park to celebrate my dad's birthday.

2008

• Was accepted into graduate school for computer science at UC Berkeley.
• Embarked on a nine day road trip to Canada with my family.
• Went hiking near South Lake Tahoe on the Eagle Falls Trailhead.
• Spent two weeks in Cambodia on a mission trip.
• Skiied with my brother and his friends in Lake Tahoe.
• Photographed a protest in Berkeley regarding the Marine Recruitment Center.
• Went to the Sacramento Zoo for the first time since I was a kid.

2007

• Visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the surrounding area.
• Moved to Berkeley for my last two years of college.
• Climbed to the highest point of Mount Lassen.
• Got my wisdom teeth pulled with local anesthesia.
• Was accepted as a transfer student at UC Berkeley, and was awarded the Regents Scholarship at UC Davis. Eventually decided to transfer.

2006

• Traveled to Las Vegas with my family for my brother's chess tournament.
• Went whitewater rafting for the first time in my life.
• Shot a few guns for the first time with Richard and Laura.
• I get sick with something mysterious and spend over a week in bed with a fever.
• Visited the happiest place on earth and Hollywood.

2005

• Enrolled in, and began attending, the University of California, Davis.
• Visited China for about three weeks.
• My third Mexico mission trip comes less than three weeks after my second.
• Graduated from Davis Senior High School.
• Attended my high school senior ball with my friends.
• Went on my second week-long mission trip to Mexico.

2004

• Started this photoblog in the middle of my senior year of high school.

1995

• At 1:50 am on June 7th my brother Isaac was born at the Sutter Davis Hospital. He weighed 7.75000001 pounds.

1989

• On November 27th, my mother and I joined my father in moving to the United States.

1987

• At 4:25 am on September 7th I was born at the Beijing Union Hospital. I weighed 6.3934056 pounds.
